My Favorite Pittsburgh Locations for Family Photo Sessions

Boyce Mayview Park -Upper St. Clair, PA

This park has beautiful open fields with blooming trees in spring, late summer golden rod, and gorgeous fall foliage. Pathways and some architectural options make it a good winter option as well. Easy pull-in parking and a short walk to the photo destination make it ideal for families with young kids.

Lake Elizabeth- Pittsburgh, PA (near the Aviary)

This location has quickly become one of my favorites with its lakes, bridges and downtown views, it is a beautiful spot for any time of year. This location has tons of street parking, I've always been able to just pull right into a spot without even parallel parking. Also, just a short walk to the location and distance from the roads, make it a good option for families with young kids.

Mellon Park- Shadyside, PA

This location offers so many unique architectural spots as well as year round greenery and/or florals. Another great option for any season. Parking lots are available right next to the location.

There are several different fields and locations I love to use in South Park depending on the time of year and time of day. All feature easy parking and short walk to the photo locations.
