What Can I Expect From My Photo Session?
Once we decide on a date and time for your session, usually via email, I'll send you an email with a link to officially complete your booking. Once you click the link you will complete a photography agreement, personalized questionnaire and pay a 30% deposit. Your booking date and time is secured once this step is completed. You will receive a link in the same email to access your personalized online styling guide!
Within a few weeks of your session I will send you a client experience guide with tips and reminders to prep you for your session.
A few days prior to your session I will send you a confirmation email with any specific details you need for your session. You can always email or text me with any questions you may have.
All you need to do is get to your session ready to smile, laugh, and have some fun. I'll take care of the rest!
If your session includes a sneak peek, you should receive that in 24-72H. I'll send you a light edit gallery within 7-10 days. Once you select photos for full edits, you should receive your final gallery within 2 weeks (usually less).

What should I wear?
I'm so excited to offer an online styling option INCLUDED with each session. I want you to look and feel your best for your photos, and this styling service takes care of all of the guess work! You will receive an email with a link to the service in your initial booking email.
When is the best time for Maternity and Newborn Photos?
I recommend 30-36 weeks for maternity photos and 7-10 days old for newborn photos. If at all possible, secure your newborn session before you give birth!

Yes! I have a selection of Maternity, Postpartum & Breastfeeding Gowns that you may use free of charge for your photo session. Check them out at this blog post. Do you have an outfit you used for photos that you loved and are ready to part with? Please let me know! I'm looking to continue to build my client closet and may be interested in purchasing your photoshoot clothing. I'm especially interested in neutral colors and muted earthy tones.
Do you have a studio?
Not yet, but there are some amazing lifestyle studios in and around Pittsburgh that are available to rent.
Yes! Each digital gallery includes a storefront where you can order professional-grade prints, canvases, cards, and more.
What's in your camera bag?
I shoot with a Sony A7 IV with a Sigma 24-70mm lens, and for detail shots, a Sony macro lens
How long have you been a photographer?
I started my business and became a photographer in 2021. I've invested countless hours since then completing many online courses, practicing, & editing.
What do full edits include?
Full edits generally include skin smoothing, general enhancements & corrections of the photo. I can also remove distracting elements and complete head swaps (if needed and when possible).
Will you give me all the raw files?
I do not release any of the RAW files. You will recieve all of your images as JPG files.
Do you offer Rain Checks?
I usually wait until the day of our session to cancel due to weather since the weather changes so quickly in Pittsburgh. I won't cancel for cloudy weather. I will have you provide your phone number so I can reach out to you for any last minute changes.
